I ended up not liking the egg recipes
I used just milk and almond flour.
It was good, but not crispy.

Perhaps I'll try just egg whites.

ROMERTOPF CHICKEN

I don't think I'll do this again soon.  It did not seem to produce a meal that was any different than the Instapot, and it was not as good.

a dozen thin sliced breasts of chicken
French cut green beans
Carrots
Spiced were garlic, pepper, and smoked Paprika
Put in a cold over.  Set it to 480 and cook about a half hour

Fun to try the old technique, but I think it is past its due.

CHANA DAL IN INSTAPOT

MAY 9 2029

I overcooked the Chana Dal today.  5 cups seemed to call for a lot of water.  Too much.  Cooking time of 12 minutes was good long especially since I let the steam escape over time.  Clearly, however, no soaking is needed in the Instapot.  These were well cooked.

I read through recipes, but chose the wrong advice.

Here is what I did before in the Instapot.  It is very close to what I did this time.  Perhaps I just put in too much water.

Chana Dal in instapot

2 cup water
a few cloves of garlic chopped
black pepper
turmeric
2 cups chana dal. ( no soaking needed)

cook manual for 12 minutes.  Let stand until all the steam releases itself.

Worked great.

Same, but let all the steam come off at the end.
The beans came out a bit crunchy.  I like them, but I'll add a bit more water next time.  Spices were turmeric, black pepper, paprika, tarragon.
no Benson's this time.  No ginger.  Dribbled a bit of worchestershire sauce over the finished product after dishing it up.
