Barbecue sauces

I started playing with vinegar but I don't think apple cider vinegar is the best for these sauces.  Maybe a white wine vinegar.

 1 1/4 cups cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
  • 4 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
